The fact that Aya is a descendant of Alexios should of been main game and if it was some how included into the ending of the main game. I feel as if the ending was well handled though and everything makes sense for the most part in the DLC. I thought that it moved pretty quickly and due to it being a more contained story all the new side quests tied into the main questline which is something i personally enjoy.
Eagle Vision is a result of Isu-Human hybrids, of which there are potentially many bloodlines. Now there are a couple of exceptions to this rule and I will go over those in this as well. Absolutely, I think i would personally rather not have dialogue options in my AC games though. What was there was good. Since you can make choices that affect the story, nothing is canon, everything is bullshit. It was more Odyssey, that being a compelling enough gameplay and story, with some cool new abilities and gear, so as a dlc I'm Satisfied, but as something sold on it's lore potential, very disappointed. This is one of the most embarrassing things I have ever witnessed Ubisoft do. I feel as if they did a much better job including more of these assassinations in questlines however.

And I think it's a really bad idea to put important lore/story content into a DLC, it just screams "pay more to see a complete story to our game".Regarding the gear and skills, the added skills were good, but the gear was pretty useless, since the best gear in the game is still epic and you can get that from just any blacksmith with a bit (a lot) of luck.

There are two endings for the DLC, and some players are wondering what happens when you choose each of them. Shadow of Legend is the second main quest available in Assassin's Creed Odyssey: Legacy of the First Blade. Like I said in the previous paragraph i thought the story for the most part was well handled. Darius or his titular blade are little more than window dressing, he isn't very well explored or explained, and the one thing I had expected to be explained (how the blade got from Darius to Cleopatra and why it changed so much) is not only not explained, but made more confusing. Also I'm pretty disappointed ubi basically squandered their only chance to have a gay protagonist in this series, in ancient Greece of all places, they invented gayness.
Yeah I understand what they were trying to do but as you say regardless it is silly, like saying we are going to show the colosseum being built to signal the change of time between AC2 and Brotherhood. I feel like it was decent and a good warm up for what i believe to be the bigger of the two expansions. I liked how much Alexios weeped, much so like Achilles in Iliad. There are definitely flaws.
The second episode has been released today, and it is where the story of the hidden blade’s beginnings ends. It's clear as day they intended for the main character to fall for Darius's Child.
