We have started experiencing this quite frequently (several times per day on some days but none on others). I have my SW setup with an install running at each of 5 locations, with one of them being the "host" system at the corporate office and the rest just remote collectors. Two different machines, fresh installs, and the same problem. A few times I've seen this I was in the middle of trying to save a ticket update, so perhaps that could be part of the cause, but other times I just come in the next day and it's down. Do you know how to check which driver you're using and how to install the correct one if the one you have is incorrect?
This is getting ridiculous!!! What happens is the system appears to be working fine for a day or more, then at some point (often around 5:23pm) something within Spiceworks crashes and we start getting the "Service not available" type message. Even with the GDI bumped up it always crashes around 3,000-10,000??? My Spiceworks server started "randomly" crashing every few days a couple months ago.

It ended up being the bundled Apache web server was crashing; so there was nothing to serve up the Spiceworks site.
I looked in the tool drop down, and even searched, and didn't see what you were referring to, Sorry, you have to go to the Start menu and then go to All Programs then the SW2016 and then the Tools and then to Rx. The speed was better, but not the stability. There are processes running all the time so perhaps a normal network scan tried to save something and that failed just like my ticket entry sometimes does. I've been monitoring the GDI usage of SW, and noticed before the last crash it was at 10,000. Join Now. When you ran SolidWorks Rx, did it return any errors? Is there anything I can do to fix this? no errors, and the drivers are up to date, we had to replace a couple of certified video cards once we moved to windows 10, even thought the customer portal showed they were certified, they were ATI/AMD cards. Looks like I still have the issue. I tried checking the log files around that time for several days but ultimately I didn't see any error messages, it just looks like the log stopped writing for the old "session" and once I restart Spiceworks the log fills with normal events like I had rebooted the server. What they saw after looking at the logs was that usually when it crashed the system just had too much data to juggle and basically freaked out. by SimcomJason.

When I looked at the logs it just stopped working at like 11pm the night before (no errors) and restarted (normally) when I got in and found it down and restarted it. First I moved it to a "new" server using the fresh install and restore the DB folder from a backup method. A hotfix is available for SOLIDWORKS 2016 SP3 which addresses a general crash when rotating any part while attempting to extend a surface which has the the 'Propogate' icon.
